Holly Willoughby poses for seflie with new co-host Freddie Flintoff ahead of The Games on ITV

Holly Willoughby has teased her upcoming ITV show alongside her new co-host. The This Morning presenter took to Instagram with a seflie alongside Freddie Flintoff as the pair prepare to join forces for a week of live TV.

Holly, 41, and former cricketer turned TV star Freddie, 44, will host The Games live on ITV every night this week, from Monday, May 9 to Friday, May 13. For weeks twelve celebrities have been stepping out of their comfort zones to be coached and trained before having to compete live to the nation in various Olympic-style events.

Among those hoping to be crowned top of the medals table is Coronation Street star Colson Smith, best known for playing the loveable Craig Tinker in the ITV soap, and Emmerdale's Rebecca Sarker, who stars as Manpreet Sharma. Joining them is former Corrie star Ryan Thomas, ex-Strictly Come Dancing pro and leading man Kevin Clifton, model and autism ambassador Christine McGuiness, and The Wanted's Max George.

Completing the celeb line-up is former Love Islander and TV presenter Olivia Attwood, influencer and model Phoenix Brown, songwriter Chelcee Grimes, Harry Potter actor Josh Herdman, newsreader Lucrezia Millarini, and musician and TV star Wes Nelson.

Holly and Freddie will also be joined in the presenting line-up by two very familiar faces. Former professional footballer and presenter Alex Scott will appear as the show's trackside reporter and former professional football player and presenter Chris Kamara will act as a commentator.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday (May 8), Holly shared a seflie of her and Top Gear host Freddie to her millions of followers. The mum-of-three could be seen wearing a 'The Games' branded, plunging sports top with her hair in styled half-up half-down with a blue bow. Meanwhile, Freddie brought the sparkle with a blue t-shirt under a glittery gold blazer jacket.

"Join me and @aflintoff11 tomorrow night on @itv 9pm for @thegamestv … thank you @robjonestv for this and you can see him and the fantastic @nolimitstreetband performing in the opening ceremony…" Holly wrote alongside the post.

And fans are already looking forward to seeing the show and Holly in her new hosting duo. @aly1962commented: "Good luck holly and Fred on your new show can’t wait to see you both working together."

"My kind of show. My kind of host. Cannot wait for this week!" @hollywillslove said as @beautywillsxx shared: "I'm excited to watch, can't wait!!"

The first show will see Tyson Fury make a guest appearance fresh from his latest win in the ring. The 33-year-old WBC heavyweight champion will lead a roster of sports stars making guest appearances on the show each night.

On Monday, he will be joined by Olympic gold medallist heptathlete Denise Lewis and Olympic gold medallist diver Matty Lee. Later in the week, there will be appearances from Hollie Arnold, Dame Sarah Storey, Jermaine Jenas and Daley Thompson.

But in a chat with the Mirror, Holly was asked why she is competing herself. "I think it’s obvious why I’m not competing! I’m not a natural sportswoman," she replied. "I’m a bit of a fish out of water here. But my kids love sports and I love watching them watch sports. I loved watching the Olympics and I knew nothing about it."
