Holly Willoughby gives a rare insight into family life after Phillip Schofield drama

Holly Willoughby has detailed how there has been a “cloud hanging over” her family over the last week. The news comes following the 42-year-old presenter’s return to ITV’s This Morning last Monday, June 5.

While Holly was away, her former co-host Phillip Schofield announced that he’d be quitting the ITV flagship show with immediate effect. In the weeks leading up to his decision, it was reported that Holly and Phillip were feuding.

A week after stepping down, Phillip announced that he’d lied about having an affair with a younger male production runner while working on This Morning. He subsequently gave an interview with the BBC and The Sun - read the main points from that here.
