After they hosted This Morning together for the first time ever a few weeks ago, Holly Willoughby and Alison Hammond will soon join forces on a project that has got nothing to do with the ITV show.
The award-winning daytime programme has been plunged into chaos over the last month, with bosses facing a hosting headache as both Holly and regular co-star Phillip Schofield were off air for extended periods.
While it came as a bit of a shock to viewers, Holly's break was planned, with her taking This Morning leave for more than two weeks to work on a new series for the BBC.
After Rochelle Humes stepped in for her alongside Phillip, the show that had an unforeseen absence to contend with, when Phillip tested positive for Covid, forcing the likes of Alison and colleagues Josie Gibson and Vernon Kay to be drafted in to replace him.

The two hosts were excited to work together and many viewers at hope loved seeing them work together.
So they are sure to be delighted by Holly's news that former Big Brother contestant Alison will join her on her podcast By The Light of the Moon.
Confirming Alison's role alongside her via Instagram, Holly wrote: "When you want to take a little moment for you, tune in to my "By the Light of the Moon" podcast, where I am joined by the sparkling light that is @alisonhammond.
"This is a really special episode that will touch the heart and make you chuckle, thanks to Alison's signature laugh, worldly stories...and not to mention our mutual love of a Terry's Chocolate Orange...I would give her my core anytime and that I don’t say lightly!"
Fans were swift to react, with one writing: "I can't wait to listen to your podcast with Alison," and another commenting: "love this month's edition."
Holly and Phillip are both absent from This Morning again this week for half term, with Alison getting an extended stint at the helm alongside her Friday presenting partner in crim,e Dermot O'Leary.
