Holidaymakers travelling through Edinburgh Airport have been left fuming this bank holiday weekend after facing long queues outside in the cold.
Early morning travellers described the situation as 'chaotic' as over one hundred holidaymakers stood outside clutching their suitcases on Monday morning.
A spokesperson for Edinburgh Airport said busy periods were expected in summer months but staff had worked "incredibly hard" to get passengers through.
