With half-term holidays looming large, more travellers than ever are looking to holiday in the UK during the break according to industry insiders.
Constantly changing rules around travel, both at home and abroad, have seen people trying to minimise risks of delays or difficulties with a rise on UK bookings at holiday cottages, hotels and other staycation options.
Bookings for February half term for Sykes Holiday Cottages have exceeded pre-pandemic levels, according to the firm's CEO with a survey of 1,000 holidaymakers saying 55% of them will continue with UK breaks this year.
