Hockey World Cup: Goal-less draw but England ahead of India in race to quarters

ROURKELA: India and England tested each other but neither found the goal that could have opened the doors of the quarterfinals for the winner of the Pool D game here at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium (BMHS) on Sunday.

In the end, it was England who benefited from the deadlock that got almost broken in the final minute, but for the goal-line save by Surender Kumar off a penalty corner.
