Child benefit payments will be made slightly early this month thanks to the bank holiday. As before Christmas, many benefit payments have been made early owing to the extra bank holiday for Christmas Day.
New Year is no different either. As New Year’s Day, usually the bank holiday, falls on a Sunday, we can enjoy an extra bank holiday day off on the 2nd.
So if you’re expecting child benefit payments within the next week, then this is when you can expect the money to land in your account.
