Historic Scottish hotel in 'beautiful' location up for sale

A SCOTTISH hotel dating back to the 1700s located in a “beautiful” part of the country has been put up for sale.

The sale of the Dunalastair Hotel Suites in Kinloch Rannoch in the Highlands is being handled by property agents Graham + Sibbald.

The agent says the hotel has origins as a drovers inn in the 1700s but that the current incarnation dates from the late Victorian period.

It further explained that the building has been “extensively refurbished” to turn it into a five-star hotel.

It features 32 “quality letting bedroom suites” as well as a lobby lounge, bar and restaurant and a first floor library lounge/private meeting room.

The location is close to the “idyllic” Loch Rannoch while Ben Lawers, Loch Tay and Queens View are all a short drive away.

Alistair Letham, a hotel and leisure consultant with Graham + Sibbald, commented, “Dunalastair Hotel Suites availability for sale is superb opportunity for purchasers to acquire a well-established 5-star style business in a popular visitor and leisure location.

"Kinloch Rannoch is beautifully remote and yet very accessible being only a 15-mile drive from the main A9 road.”.

Graham + Sibbald are inviting “offers around £3,250,000” for the Dunalastair Hotel Suites.
