Historic February tornadoes strike Midwest, causing power outages and damage

Tornado activity damages homes and buildings in Tennessee

The National Weather Service has reported that at least three tornadoes touched down in Illinois and Wisconsin on Thursday night, causing widespread damage and power outages. Of particular note is the tornado that struck Evansville, Wisconsin - the first-ever tornado reported in the month of February in the state. Although no injuries have been reported, the severe weather event has left a trail of destruction in its wake.

A video captured in Evansville, Wisconsin, shows the ominous funnel cloud descending from the darkened sky, accompanied by strong winds and heavy rain. The National Weather Service has dispatched survey teams to assess the number, strength, and path of the tornadoes, providing a comprehensive understanding of the extent of the damage caused.
