Everton fans have been reacting to news Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Conor Coady has joined the club on a season long loan.
The Blues confirmed the deal on Monday evening and the ECHO understands it does include an option to buy at the end of the spell. News comes after both Ben Godfrey and Yerry Mina picked up injuries in their Premier League season opener against Chelsea on Saturday.
It is understood the 29-year-old has been on Everton's radar for some time but the club stepped up their interest after it became clear the defender would be dropped from the Wolves starting line-up due to a tactical change. With the World Cup taking place later this year, Coady needs regular minutes in order to keep himself in Gareth Southgate's thinking before the tournament.

Everton supporters have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the deal and a number of Blues are delighted with the transfer, insisting he's exactly what they need. A number of fans also highlighted his leadership, as he was Wolves captain, as an important quality.
One supporter tweeted: "Will be a boss signing this. A leader, experienced, good on the ball and fits the Lampard system perfectly. Him and James Tarkowski will be absolutely solid."
Coady joins Tarkowski, Dwight McNeil and former Wolves teammate Ruben Vinagre through the door as new additions this summer. Frank Lampard is also reportedly eyeing further signings as his squad for the new season takes shape.
