Film crews have taken over a city centre hotel for filming of a popular ITV drama.
The Hilton Hotel is set to star in the second series of The Tower, which is based on former Metropolitan Police officer Kate London’s series of novels from her time in the police force. The first series followed Killing Eve's Gemma Whelan and Emmett J. Scanlan as they investigated the deaths of two people after they fell from a tower block.
The three-part drama had viewers hooked when it came to our screens last November - and filming for a new season is now underway. Camera crews were seen parked outside the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool city centre on Monday, July 18, as filming took place inside.
