Actress and singer Hilary Duff has bared all for the latest issue of Women's Health magazine, in which she discusses body image in Hollywood.
The 34-year old mother of three revealed she is comfortable with her body, despite the 'alterations' made in Tinsel Town.
"I'm proud of my body. I'm proud that it's produced three children for me. I've gotten to a place of being peaceful with the changes my body has gone through," she told the magazine.
"I also want people to know a makeup artist was there putting glow all over my body and someone put me in the most flattering position," she added.
The former Lizzie McGuire star went on to discuss how she battled an eating disorder at the age of 17 and that she was 'obsessed with everything she put in her mouth'.
"It was horrifying," she told the magazine.
After almost two decades in the spotlight, however, she said she is now at peace with her body, but admitted to hiring a trainer and and working out four days a week in preparation for the photoshoot.
"I think at 34, I’ve just gained a lot of respect for my body. It's taken me all the places I need to go, it's helped me build a beautiful family," she enthused.
She said the positive turning point arrived after giving birth to her second child, Banks.
"I didn't even know if I was going to have the opportunity to have another child [after divorcing Mike Comrie, the father of her first child, Lica]. So, being a mom again, maybe," she said.
"It was a whole mix of things—of being settled and realising that I'm powerful and talented and smart. All mental things."
Addressing her 21 million Instagram followers about the shoot, the star added: "Sooooo, this was scary. I knew doing this would terrify me and I was right! @womenshealthmag had the most lovely all-women shoot and I actually had the best time.
"I felt strong and beautiful and laughed a lot getting into some of these poses without my high waisted mom jeans and oversized whatever I normally wear.
"Thank you to everyone who normalized this day for me and propped me up with compliments and love. @nikkilee901 you worked your butt off! @kdeenihan I live for the no make up/make up look you give me. @daniellamidenge I love these photos so much, thank you for capturing a moment in time where I felt both completely vulnerable but powerful."
