Manchester United fans could not resist poking fun at a former player and one who came close to joining them, following the latest round of Champions League matches.
Paul Pogba drew plenty of criticism from United fans for choosing to return to former club Juventus last summer. The Frenchman's contract at Old Trafford had expired and he chose to head back to Italy where he previously spent four successful years.
But he has endured a nightmare return so far with injury meaning he has yet to so much as play a single minute. And he had to watch from the sidelines as Juve suffered a chastening group stage exit from Europe's premier club competition.

Tuesday saw them lose 4-3 to Benfica with the result meaning they cannot qualify for the last-16 and a spot in the Europa League now looks likely.
It was similarly bad news for Frenkie de Jong, the Barcelona midfielder who United tracked all summer only for a move never to materialise. The Dutch midfielder played the whole 90 minutes as Barca were swatted aside 3-0 at home to Bayern Munich. That means Europa League football for De Jong also.
In a twist of fate, United could face either Juve or Barca in the knockout round in February if Erik ten Hag's side finish as group runners-up.
