Manchester United fans have urged the club to make a move for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo after he expressed his desire to move on.
The 21-year-old confirmed that he wants to leave the Seagulls in an open letter social media. He released a statement on Friday after Brighton rejected a £60m bid from Arsenal for the midfielder.
Caicedo, who has made 26 appearances in the Premier League, scoring twice, is under contract until 2025. While the Ecuadorian star is thought to be a target for a number of clubs - including United and Chelsea - Brighton have insisted that the player is not for sale and have reportedly told him to stay away from the club until after the transfer window closes before returning for the second half of the season.

Taking to Instagram, Caicedo wrote: "I am grateful to Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best. I always play football with a smile and with heart.
"I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful.
"I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador. My dream always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador.
"The fans have taken me into their hearts and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take this magnificent opportunity."
United were working on a deal to sign the 21-year-old in January 2021, but talks to sign the Ecuador international were compromised by the involvement of various intermediaries. The Manchester Evening News reported that the deal became 'too messy' for the Reds.
Given that the player is keen to leave Brighton this month, United supporters have urged the club to make a move for the midfielder, who previously admitted that it was his 'dream' to play for the Reds.
