Rangers have confirmed academy prospect Coben Fergusson has signed his first professional contract with the club, committing his future until the summer of 2029.
The 16-year-old winger has progressed through the ranks at Ibrox from a young age and played a key role in the Under-17s’ league-winning campaign last season.

Fergusson also gained experience at Under-19 level, featuring across several competitions and netting his first goal for the side in a 5-1 win away to Dundee United in the penultimate match of the campaign.
On the international stage, the promising attacker has represented Scotland at youth level and was recently capped for the Under-16s, scoring in a victory over Cyprus.

Interim Head of Academy David McCallum welcomed the deal, saying: “We are thrilled to see Coben commit his future to the club by signing his first professional contract.
“He has a fantastic attitude towards his development, is eager to learn and consistently demonstrates the desire to push himself every day.
“I’m sure this is a proud day for Coben and his family, and we’re looking forward to supporting him as he continues to develop both as a player and as a person.”
