The Ohio State recruiting class is coming along nicely thus far. Currently, the Buckeyes have the No. 4 overall class according to 247Sports. Although heavy on the offensive side of the ball, the coaching staff is looking forward to hosting a number of highly touted defensive recruits in June.
One of those who will be taking an official visit to Columbus is cornerback Bryce West. West recently narrowed his list down to seven schools with OSU making the cut. Others on the list include some big hitters in Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Oregon, Texas A&M, and USC.
West is an Ohio native hailing from Cleveland Glenville High School. Traditionally, Glenville has been a pipeline to Ohio State. And as of now, things are looking good for the Buckeyes as 247Sports has seven crystal ball predictions for West in favor of the Scarlet and Gray.

West is the No. 4 cornerback and No. 43 overall player in the nation according to 247Sports composite rankings. If Ohio State could land both West and Arron Scott, the No. 6 ranked cornerback, it would be quite a haul for a team that has struggled in the secondary the past few seasons.
West has official visits set with Michigan this weekend, USC on June 16, and Ohio State on June 23.
