Higher US Output and Warmer Temps Weigh on Nat-Gas Prices

United States Nymex Natural Gas BNEF EIA Gulf Coast Hurricane Hurricane Isaias

November Nymex natural gas (NGX26) on Monday closed down -0.053 (-1.65%).

Nat-gas prices settled lower on Monday as offshore producers brought back supply shut down last week along the Gulf Coast by Hurricane Isaias. Also, forecasts of warmer US temperatures that will reduce nat-gas heating demand weighed on prices. The Commodity Weather Group on Monday said that forecasts shifted warmer, with above-average temperatures expected across the eastern half of the US from October 22-26.
