New Delhi: Amidst the enthusiasm of Republic Day celebrations in the country, there is a high buzz in Bihar politics. The political rift between Janata Dal(U) and RJD is widening by the day.
Meanwhile, JDU has cancelled all its programmes. Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav were seen sitting far apart at the Republic Day function in Patna. There may be a sudden and surprise announcement regarding Bihar politics by this evening.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, amid signs of deepening rift between Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the constituent parties of the opposition alliance 'India', the possibility of the JDU chief once again returning to the NDA is on the cards.
At the same time, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders held several meetings in Delhi on Thursday about Bihar turmoil.
Amid all possibilities of BJP to welcome Nitish Kumar into its fold, BJP's Bihar unit president Samrat Chaudhary, Sushil Modi and Vijay Kumar Sinha and other senior state leaders met Party top brass including Amit Shah in the national capital.

Chaudhary, however, claimed that the meeting was regarding BJP's preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
A BJP ally, however, claimed that the stage is set for the fall of the grand alliance government in Bihar and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will support Kumar after his breaking ties with the RJD.
JD(U) spokesperson KC Tyagi told reporters in Patna that his Party considers itself the architect of INDIA bolc and asked other party leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge to address the concerns raised by allies like the Trinamool Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party.
After JD(U) President Nitish Kumar's target at parties promoting nepotism in politics, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad's daughter Rohini Acharya, in a post on 'X', slammed Nitish Kumar for his unwarranted remarks.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself had hinted in a recent interview at the possibility of Kumar joining the BJP camp.
Earlier, Shah had often said that the doors were closed for Kumar's return to the country's ruling coalition.
Sources said JD(U) leaders are said to be unhappy as Kumar, who has held the post of Chief Minister of Bihar for the longest time, is not getting a place in the opposition alliance Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance (India) commensurate with his political stature.
Kumar's decision to take over as party president, cutting short Lalan Singh's tenure, was seen as an attempt to take firm control of the JD(U) Party.
The RJD, however, first took steps towards resolving the matter by agreeing to hand over the relatively unimportant department of sugarcane industry to Education Minister Chandrashekhar.
Acharya also deleted his post targeting the Chief Minister after a few hours. But the Bihar unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accused Acharya of insulting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and demanded a public apology from him.
