Aiden McGeady admits he could hang up his boots tomorrow and be financially stable - but he still has the hunger and desire to play for Lee Johnson at Hibs.
The Easter Road summer recruit is currently out injured after returning to the Scottish Premiership for the season ahead after leaving Sunderland. The 36-year-old knows he still have a couple of years left in his legs and as well as still having a lot of offer as a player, he is also still enjoying playing football.
The former Celtic star played in Russia for a spell with Spartak Moscow after departing the Hoops before starring in England for the likes of Everton and the Black Cats - with loan deals in between at Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton and Preston North End. As well as working hard to get fit and return to the park, the former Republic of Ireland star has been taking care of things away from the pitch and is currently enrolled in a Sports Directorship UCFB course in Manchester. McGeady has also done a couple of coaching badges and had a taste of media work.
