Hibs are set to beat a host of clubs to the signing of Reuben McAllister from Bristol City, according to a report.
Lee Johnson is said be splashing over £100,000 to snap up the highy-rated teenager with a sell-on clause included on a deal until 2025. Rangers and Celtic have both previously been credited with a transfer interest as have English Premier League outfits Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion and Leicester City.
McAllister is said to have favoured a switch to Easter Road over other options in Scotland and England due to working with Johnson, says transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

It's already been a busy summer of transfer activity in the capital with the likes of David Marshall, Aiden McGeady, Jair Tavares and Rocky Bushiri just a handful of names that have signed up at Easter Road.
Johnson and Co return to competitive action tomorrow after a successful pre-season period when they take on Clyde in the Premier Sports Cup.
The showdown at Easter Road will give the Hibs faithful a first look at their new-look side as they bid to get off to a flying start in the domestic cup competition.
Falkirk, Bonnyrigg Rose and Greenock Morton make up the rest of the section with the minimum target a place in the last 16 for Hibs ahead of the Premiership opener at the end of the month.
