Hibs' Ryan Porteous appeal fails as defender's suspension increased to four games

Hibs' appeal against Ryan Porteous' red card at the weekend has been unsuccessful.

The defender was sent off for cleaning out Aberdeen's Ross McCrorie in the box, leading to the award of a spot kick.

While Shaun Maloney agreed that it was a penalty, he felt Porteous made a genuine attempt to win the ball.
