Hibs receive full away allocation for Rangers clash at Ibrox

Hibernian will receive a full away allocation for the Scottish Premiership tie against Rangers.

The Easter Road club have had confirmation that a full allocation for visiting supporters will be granted.

Hibs officials had previously voiced concerns over away briefs amid the ongoing maintenance at Ibrox - but after discussions with the SPFL they have received confirmation of a full away section.

A Hibs club statement read:  "We can confirm that Hibernian FC will receive a full away allocation for this Sunday’s William Hill Premiership match against Rangers.

"We have just received the ticket information from Rangers and will go on sale to Hibs First members at 5pm.

"Full ticket information and further sale dates will be detailed at 5pm. We’d like to thank our supporters for their patience during this frustrating time."

It comes after Rangers confirmed Ibrox would be back to full capacity for the Scottish Premiership tie.

A Rangers update read: "Rangers are pleased to confirm the reopening of the Copland Rear, and therefore the full capacity of Ibrox Stadium for Sunday’s Scottish Premiership match with Hibernian.

"The club cannot thank our loyal supporters enough for their patience in these last number of weeks as works in the Copland Stand to provide top-class facilities for our disabled supporters, as well as an increase in overall capacity, have been ongoing.

"The reopening this weekend coincides with Rangers beginning to mark 125 years at our iconic home, with everyone at the club looking forward to a fantastic match on Sunday lunchtime."
