Momodou Bojang has detailed his long conversation with Lee Johnson over the phone as the Hibs new boy finally arrived at HTC.
The Gambian striker joined up with his new Easter Road team-mates for the first time yesterday after his work permit approval came through. He instantly got on a long flight to get down to work as soon as he heard the good news.
During his wait to get the green light for his switch to Edinburgh the 21-year-old has been in Gambia working hard on his own to maintaining his fitness levels. He was doing double sessions with one in the morning and then another in the afternoon daily in order to hit the ground running when he arrived at Hibs. The striker now just can't wait to get started as he opened up on the small details from Johnson that convinced him to make the move to Scotland.

Speaking to the Hibs TV for the very first time, he said: “I had to take care of myself. I was in Gambia doing my own training.
“I was working hard, training in the morning and in the afternoon every day, before I finally joined the team.
“I am ready now. I am feeling happy. I can’t wait to start training with my teammates.”
On his chat with Johnson, he added: “He told me about the team and the project he has.
“He told me about his system and what he wants from a striker, and I think that suits me, so that’s why I decided to join the team."
