Hibs will play fellow city club Edinburgh during the World Cup break.
The League One side have been the surprise package in the third tier this season after promotion from League Two last term, mounting an unlikely promotion charge against some big hitters like Falkirk and Dunfermline. They won't be on a month's hiatus as the big tournament in Qatar proceeds but Hibs will, and manager Lee Johnson is looking to keep his players fresh for the Premiership returning in December.
They will face Middlesbrough during the four-week window and have now confirmed strategic partners Edinburgh will visits Easter Road on December 8th, with a 7pm kick-off. After successful 'singing section' trials during recent UEFA Youth League matches at the stadium, section 18 of the Famous Five Stand will open to help enhance the atmosphere once again. Adults are £10 with concessions £5, with season ticket holders also getting access for £5.

"As part of the new partnership, both clubs agreed that an annual friendly would take place to celebrate the connection between the sides."
