Versatile Hibs academy defender Josh McCulloch has signed for Albion Rovers on a loan deal until the end of this season.
The 18-year-old joins on the back of helping Hibs' under-19s reach the UEFA Youth League play-off round, before they lost to a young Borussia Dortmund side.
McCulloch goes straight into the squad for today's League Two game against Annan Athletic.
Rovers boss Brian Reid told the club's website: "We have made it no secret in recent weeks that we are light on numbers, and our squad was being stretched thin due to injuries.
"Josh is a talented player, who is highly rated by Hibs, and he will give us depth across the park.
"This provides us with an opportunity to build a relationship with another club, too."
Hibs academy director Stewart Kean said: "This is a great opportunity for Josh to get regular minutes, playing first-team football.
"With this loan, he will also be able to play for Hibs' development squad, which will give him a good opportunity to play two games a week and really accelerate his development between now and the end of the season."
