Hezbollah announced on Wednesday that it had launched a ballistic missile aimed at the headquarters of Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad, located near Tel Aviv. This attack, a rare occurrence far from the typical frontlines, was swiftly intercepted by the Israeli military.
The militant group claimed responsibility for launching a Qadr 1 ballistic missile towards the Mossad headquarters in the Tel Aviv suburbs. Hezbollah stated that the attack was carried out in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and as a measure to defend Lebanon and its citizens.
Israeli defense forces confirmed the interception of the missile near Tel Aviv. In response, the Israeli Air Force conducted a strike on the launcher used to fire the missile, located in the Nafakhiyeh area of Lebanon.
