The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that Hezbollah launched rockets across the border into Israel on Sunday. Following sirens in the western Galilee and HaAmakim areas, approximately 10 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon, with some being intercepted by Israeli defense systems.
In response to the attacks, IDF fighter jets conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The strikes targeted launchers aimed at Israeli territory, weapons storage facilities, and terrorist infrastructure sites.
Earlier on Sunday, multiple projectiles were fired into Israel from Lebanon, landing in open areas near the northern city of Tiberias. The ongoing exchange of fire between Hezbollah and Israel has heightened tensions in the region.
The IDF remains vigilant and prepared to defend Israeli territory against any further attacks. The situation is being closely monitored as both sides continue to engage in hostilities along the border.
