Heung-min Son dismisses Tottenham exit talk: 'I have so much more I want to do'

Heung-min Son has dismissed suggestions that he could leave Tottenham.

The South Korean has been linked with a shock move to link up with Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahce.

The Turkish giants are targeting a summer transfer spending spree reports last week claimed former Spurs manager Mourinho wanted to be reunited with Son.

But Son says he feels “uncomfortable” with speculation over his future and the Spurs captain insists he is going nowhere.

While Son only has one year left on his contract, Spurs have an option to extend his deal by a year and the 31-year-old says there is still lots he wants to achieve with the club.

“I have not had any exchanges with the club,” said Son last night after he helped South Korea beat China 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier in Seoul. “I don't have anything to say at this point. I feel a little uncomfortable with the situation. I am going to keep doing my best for Tottenham. I still have terms left on my contract.

“Money is not important to me. The most important thing is to play in a league that I enjoy playing in. I have so much more I want to accomplish in the Premier League.”

Son this season moved up to fifth in the list of Tottenham’s all-time scorers, with 162 goals in 408 appearances since joining in 2015.
