A witness of an inferno which tore through a residential bulding in Ibrox has hailed a heroic stranger for rescuing a baby that was thrown to safety by a worried mum on the first floor.
Police, fire and medical services raced to the scene on Harley Street at around 4.15pm as a raging inferno tore throught the flat block.
One witness described the moment they heard screams coming from the building.

They told Glasgow Live: "She was screaming at the top of her voice and at that point I looked out of the window.
"I saw this man, who just happened to pass by, and she was shouting 'can you catch my baby?' He ran over and put his arms out and she threw the baby out the window and he caught it.
"It was unbelieveable. I ran downstairs and someone else was pulled out because these workmen managed to get a ladder up to the window.
"The person was screaming and panicking. The fire service were brilliant they got there within seconds."

One woman has been rushed to hospital following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a fire at a property on Harley Street, Glasgow, around 4.15pm on Friday, 6 January, 2023.
“Emergency services attended and one woman has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“Officers are currently at the scene.”
