Hero barber 'outstanding' as he saves stabbed teen's life in shop

People have praised a hero barber who helped a teenager after he was stabbed.

Merseyside Police were called to Yemi's Barber Shop on Smithdown Road in Toxteth at around 4.35pm on Wednesday following reports of a stabbing. Officers later found a 19-year-old man was stabbed in the leg.

Yemi Sheen owns a barbershop in the area where the teen ran into for help after he was attacked. The 42-year-old rushed to the teenager's aid by applying pressure to the wound to keep him alive.
