It’s just about time for the Carolina Panthers to hit the road in their next step towards finding a franchise quarterback. So, who will be making the trips?
On Tuesday, Darin Gantt of Panthers.com noted that the team will be sending a who’s who of decision makers to the upcoming pro days of the 2023 NFL draft’s top quarterbacks. Those individuals, who will also presumably be joined by assistants and/or scouts, are as follows:
- General manager Scott Fitterer
- Assistant general manager Dan Morgan
- Vice president of football administration Samir Suleiman
- Head coach Frank Reich
- Offensive coordinator Thomas Brown
- Quarterbacks coach Josh McCown
- Senior assistant Jim Caldwell
The stops begin on Wednesday—in Columbus, Ohio for Ohio State University star C.J. Stroud. Stroud has recently been listed as the odds-on favorite, by multiple sports books, to be selected by the Panthers with this year’s No. 1 overall pick.
Their travels will continue into Thursday for Alabama’s Bryce Young, Friday for Kentucky’s Will Levis and next Thursday for Florida’s Anthony Richardson.
