LIV Golf returned to action this week at venerable Valderrama Golf Club in Spain for the event they call LIV Golf Andalucia. It's the tour's final tuneup before the British Open and offered the league's usual $25 million purse, with $4 million to the individual champion and $5 million carved out for the team event.
The league's Spanish players were especially looking forward to the tournament and one took home the trophy: Sergio Garcia of Fireballs GC. It was his first win in the Saudi-backed league and came on the second playoff hole over Anirban Lahiri, who had a chance to win in regulation but had a stunning miss from 2 feet for par and the win at his 54th hole.

In the team competition, Fireballs GC defeated Bryson DeChambeau's Crushers GC on the first playoff hole for the win. Abraham Ancer and David Puig won for the Fireballs, as Garcia was competing simultaneously in the individual playoff.
