The Big Brother Australia fanbase has been in shambles over the mysterious whereabouts of beloved sleepy housemate Abiola Oreyomi. So, is this diva still in the Big Brother Australia house?
This article contains Big Brother Australia spoilers. Proceed with caution.
Ever since Abiola described herself as a “fat, Black lesbian” in her introduction for Big Brother Australia, she defs became one of our frontrunners for the $100K prize.
However, over the past week, after she was saved from eviction by the current head housemate, Allana Jackson, it appears that Abiola had disappeared from the Dreamworld sharehouse.

You see, speculation surrounding Abiola’s whereabouts first kicked off when a viewer noticed that one of the beds had been removed in the 24/7 livestream.
“A housemate has left, count the beds, and it’s very easy to see who’s left,” a fan wrote in a Facebook Group, per Chattr.
Further in the livestream, fellow housemate Emily Dale seemingly commented on Abiola’s rumoured departure from the show
“Because Abs is gone, because Abs loved her Clark Rubber beanbag, and now Abs is gone,” the primary school teacher said before the livestream was muted.
So, did Abiola leave the Big Brother Australia house?
Unfortunately, for the Abiola fans (ME), she has left the Big Brother Australia house. But don’t worry, she didn’t leave empty handed.
In a cheeky Christmas challenge, all the folks who weren’t up for nomination were given the opportunity to walk out of the house in exchange for $15K of the $100K money.
In this twist, Abiola was the one who took the dosh.

Prior to Abiola’s eviction, Daily Mail Australia claimed the musician “departed on Day 20”, accepting a $15K prize to walk out.

At the time, Network 10 remained silent on Abiola’s whereabouts. However, a spokesperson for the network hinted at a ‘yuge twist that’s set to rock the house on Sunday night.
“Looks like Big Brother‘s two favourite housemates (Washing Machine and Dryer) got some extra love on the livestream this week. Fans are whipping into a frenzy about what secret action could have taken place in the house,” the spokesperson told the publication.
“To add to the excitement, word is out that someone has chosen to leave, sparking wild speculation — was it a spin cycle spin out, a secret pact, or something else entirely?
“Doesn’t everyone know that in Big Brother‘s house, the first rule is to expect the unexpected?”
While we’re happy that Abiola got a pay day, we do wish she stayed. We will miss her raps.
Big Brother Australia is on Monday to Friday at 7.30pm and Sundays at 7pm. Watch and live stream 24/7 on 10play or on TikTok @bigbrotherau.
