Here's how to view Glasgow's live George Square camera during Seville match

Here's how to view Glasgow's live George Square camera

THE "HEART of Glasgow" can be watched live on the city council's website.

Viewers can see what's happening in George Square via an online webcam.

It's updated every 20 seconds, but the local authority says that at times of high traffic, the webcam may become unavailable for short periods.

In May 2021, hundreds of people tuned in to have a look at Rangers fans celebrating after winning the league title for the first time in 10 years.

Thousands of fans are expected to gather at George Square tonight if the club beat Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League Final.

Meanwhile, crowds of supporters have also travelled to Seville, where the match is being played.

The famous square has been prepped ahead of potential celebrations

Glasgow City Council employees were seen erecting fences around statues and flower beds.

Memorial benches, dedicated to beloved Glaswegians, had already been removed. The council say this has been done following a request from Rangers Football Club.

Large piles of metal fencing were seen on the ground and fences had also been put in place around a grass area.

A spokesperson for the local authority said: “We have been in regular contact with Rangers in the build-up to this week’s finals.

“Appropriate plans are being put in place to minimise the impact of any gatherings linked to these games.”
