The Carolina Panthers finally got to roll out one of their shiny new toys.
After being sidelined for the entirety of the offseason and the first six weeks of the regular season, rookie running back Jonathon Brooks was officially designated to return to practice on Wednesday.

Brooks is now seemingly at the very end of his road to recovery from an ACL tear, which he sustained while playing at the University of Texas last November.
The Panthers will have 21 days to move Brooks to their active roster.
