Tributes have been paid tonight to Belfast journalist Henry McDonald after his death over the weekend following a battle with cancer.
Henry, a father of three, was a prominent figure on the media landscape of Northern Ireland but was best known as Ireland correspondent for the Observer and Guardian newspapers.
The 57-year-old, a life-long passionate supporter of Cliftonville and Everton, also wrote two novels – The Swinging Detective and Two Souls - as well as several books on The Troubles and Northern Ireland's paramilitaries.
