One of the most intriguing quarterback prospects in the 2023 NFL draft class got some good news during his trip to the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine.
Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker is still recovering from a torn ACL he suffered late last season, but his medical evaluations in Indy this week have revealed that he’s on track to be ready for the start of the 2023 NFL regular season (per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Hooker was a front-runner for the Heisman Trophy before the injury, and at full strength, would easily be in the first-round conversation for this year’s draft.
With this positive news, it’ll be interesting to see where Hooker ends up landing on draft weekend.
