Newcastle United suffered their first home league defeat in 2022 after falling to Premier League title-chasing Liverpool on Saturday afternoon. The game, which lacked chances throughout, was won by Naby Keita's first-half strike.
Liverpool enjoyed the better chances of the contest, testing Martin Dubravka on many occasions. Newcastle, however, struggled in front of goal, with Eddie Howe admitting after that his gameplan had not been implemented to his satisfaction.
Here are the moments you may have missed from Saturday's early kick-off.

Henderson's reaction
Former Sunderland midfielder Jordan Henderson always has a tricky task coming back to this part of the north-east. The England international attempted to remain calm despite the chorus of boos whenever he touched the ball during the 1-0 win.
Minutes before Henderson was eventually replaced by fellow midfielder Fabinho, he intercepted a pass on the half-way line, with the ball subsequently going out for a throw-in. "YES HENDO," screamed Jurgen Klopp - as if his player had just rifled one in the net from 30 yards.
A few moments later, the fourth official's board went up and Henderson was withdrawn. The boos echoed around the stadium, as Henderson allowed himself a wry smile as he trudged off the pitch. Klopp then greeted him with a huge bear hug before he took his seat on the bench.
Klopp left confused
Henderson wasn't the only player booed by Newcastle fans, with James Milner receiving a few whistles from the stands during the clash. Admittedly, the former Magpies star was eventually clapped off the pitch by both home and away supporters.
But in his post-match press conference, Klopp was confused by the small smattering of boos when Milner went to take a corner at the Gallowgate End. The Liverpool boss even asked journalists why this happened before being assured that home supporters actually look fondly on the 36-year-old.
Alexander-Arnold amused
Klopp had the luxury of resting key players after Wednesday's Champions League semi-final. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Thiago were all susbsequently benched this afternoon.
The first-mentioned was replaced by Joe Gomez at full-back, while Henderson was trusted with free-kicks in his absence.
Henderson took a pop from a set-piece during the first-half but sent his effort high and wide over the bar. The BT cameras then kindly cut to the substitutes bench, where Alexander-Arnold couldn't hind his amusement at the poor attempt.
Graeme Jones' role
Graeme Jones used to be a visible figure in Newcastle's backroom team. Nowadays, he spends most of his time in the background. During the Liverpool clash, the coach once again took his seat in the crowd, just above the press area, in order to cast his eye over proceedings from a different vantage point.
But three minutes before the end of the first-half, Jones made his way down to the touchline and shared a conversation with Eddie Howe. The two coaches shared a back and forth, with Jones appearing to have spotted something Howe and Jason Tindall hadn't pitch side.
Jones took up the same spot in the second-half before making his way to the bench around five minutes before full-time.
