Dipping your chips in gravy or mayo is a debate that's been argued for many years...
But now, thanks to Hellmann's, you won't have to choose as it's bringing out a gravy flavoured mayo.
The new condiment claims to be first-of-its-kind and forms part of a new trio of flavours including Coronation, Chilli Charger.
Each one is restaurant inspired and provides a unique taste for Spring/Summer occasions, "whether it’s a Jubilee picnic, feel-good Friday night in or family BBQ."
According to the brand, the Gravy Mayo aims to unite Brits on the chip divide, with Northerners believed to prefer gravy with their fries, while Southerners opt for mayonnaise.

With an estimated 15.4 million Brits tucking into gravy every year , Hellmann’s new Gravy Mayo combines the richness of homemade gravy with Hellmann’s famous creamy taste, providing the perfect pairing for a variety of dishes.
It claims to be "the perfect dipping sauce for chicken and chips", and was "inspired by a well-known chicken takeaway."
The Coronation Mayo pays homage to the jubilee, with Hellmann's saying it is a"delectable pairing for buffet celebrations, a perfect spread for summer sarnies and dip for picnics with friends and family."
Last, but not least, is the brand new Chilli Charger Mayo which will add a fiery kick to your meals.
Rachel Chambers, Marketing Manager at Hellmann’s, said: "We know just how much Brits love a takeaway and with the fakeaway style of cooking booming during lockdown, we wanted to provide the nation with restaurant-inspired flavours they could enjoy at home.
"We’re incredibly excited to announce our market-first Gravy Mayo and hope all three, delicious new flavours will bring a bold new twist to dishes served at Jubilee parties and BBQs nationwide this summer."
All three squeezy bottles are made with 100 per cent fully recycled plastic and are 100 per cent recyclable. Available on shelves in supermarkets nationwide in April, for an RRP of £2.25* per bottle (250ml).
It’s the second major move from Hellmann’s this month after already rebranding its salad dressings and adding two new flavours, Blue Cheese and Garlic & Herb.
