Helen Skelton stuns in revealing pink dress as she attends Royal Ascot after break-up

Helen Skelton looked stunning in a revealing pink outfit at her first Royal Ascot since splitting from husband Richie Myler.

The former Blue Peter presenter, 38, sadly announced her heartbreaking split from the Leeds Rhinos player last month, as she told her fans he had “left the family home”, and she was concentrating on their three young children - Ernie, 6, Louis, 5 and six-month-old Elsie.

Helen has made a handful of appearances since the couple parted ways, and she wowed her followers on Instagram as she shared snaps from her well-deserved day out at Royal Ascot.

The Countryfile presenter looked sensational in a pink wide-legged halterneck jumpsuit from luxury designer brand Me + Em, as she posed alongside her gal pals and clutched a glass of rose champagne.

“Day for it thanks for having us @slingsbysocial @the_royal_ascot #ascot #raceday #royalenclosure,” she captioned the slideshow of pictures, which revealed she had been invited to the coveted racing event by the Yorkshire-based booze brand Slingsby Gin.

She finished off the race day look with a extravagant white hat adorned with coloured flowers, heels and a chic black Aspinall bag.

“Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children,” she wrote, alongside two broken heart emojis.

The couple wed in December 2013, and just five months after they welcomed their third child, daughter Elsie, they had called it quits.

In a recent interview with Go Outdoors, Helen said “no one knows what happens behind closed doors” as she discussed how she juggles family life in the wake of the split.

“Don’t compare yourself to anyone else, no one knows what happens behind closed doors,” she explained.

“Lists and diaries are good too. If I write down things I need to do I feel like they are a weight off my brain,” Helen added.
