Helen Skelton has revealed what life is like now as a single mum-of-three following her shock split from husband Richard Myler, who left their home just four months after she gave birth back in April.
The Countryfile presenter, 38, appeared on Lorraine to speak about her upcoming TV shows on Monday morning.
But the conversation briefly turned to her relationship woes as she explained her mum was there to help this week.
Helen had been with her husband for nine years and the pair share three children together - four-month-old Elsie Kate, four-year-old Louis and six-year-old Ernie.
Richard, 31, "left the family home" after eight years of marriage leaving Helen stunned, and later began a new relationship with the daughter of the multi-millionaire President of the Leeds Rhinos club he plays for.
Lorraine began the interview welcoming her guest: “Helen, it's so good to see you. You've had a bit of a rough time, I know. But the best way to get over stuff is to just get out there again - out there working.”
Helen responded: “I think anybody in my position would say the same.”
Her dogs began to bark in the background as she continued: “I've got three small children and a very loud dog as you can hear.”
Turning to her dog, who was off camera, she shouted: "Stop it! They time it perfectly, don't they?!"
"It's fine," Lorraine insisted. "Kids and dogs and all that, your life is like that, it really is. And you're used to the chaos! So you're my kind of woman, you put on a brave face and you're back out doing the series-"
But a cringing Helen got out of her chair and left briefly to sort out the dog.
When she returned, Lorraine asked if everything was alright.
"It's uncharacteristically calm around here this morning because I'm working this week," she replied. "My mum has come to stay for the week, because she doesn't live near, so she's got the kids off to school. Monday morning when you've got to get the kids to school is just... It's the same drill every day but somehow it's always chaos! 'Get the socks on, get their shoes on, where's their school bags?!'
"So mum's in control but she forgot to put her granny magic onto the dogs, sorry!"
Helen announced she and her husband are no longer together following an emotional statement on her Instagram story in April.
She wrote: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home.
"We will be doing our best to co parent our small children."
It was revealed a few days after that Richie has since been dating Sophie Thirkill - the daughter of the Super League club's president.
Following the split, Richie was pictured enjoying a romantic stroll with his new girlfriend while Helen focused on her career.
Helen has made a handful of appearances since the couple parted ways, and she wowed her followers on Instagram as she shared snaps from her well-deserved day out at Royal Ascot recently.
