Helen Skelton has returned to Instagram without her wedding ring just hours after her husband's new girlfriend was publicly revealed.
The Countryfile presenter’s husband Richie Myler has begun a new relationship with Stephanie Thirkill, the daughter of the multi-millionaire President of the Leeds Rhinos club he plays for.
The TV presenter, who announced the couple's split last week - just four months after the birth of their third child - came back to social media to post an advertisement for Smart Meters. The 38-year-old stood in her kitchen and held onto a mug of tea while promoting the product and she was not wearing her wedding ring in the clips.

She seemed nonchalant as she spoke about her campaign and the importance of saving energy. Since her public split, Helen is said to feel 'bewildered' by the breakdown of her marriage to Richie.
The Sun reported the sports star has 'seen the young businesswoman several times recently' as their friendship has continued to grow. Insiders claimed that Richie is in 'the very early stages of a relationship' with the new woman.
“Richie appears to have been spending a lot of his free time with this younger, successful businesswoman," an insider told the publication at the time.
It was then reported that Richie and the woman made plans to go on holiday to get 'out of the public eye'. After a few days of mystery, it is now claimed that Richie is actually dating the daughter of the President of the Leeds Rhinos club he plays for, Stephanie, 32.
A source MailOnline: "Helen is absolutely devastated. Now she is contemplating life without him while he has moved on with his new partner.
"Richie is insisting there was no crossover, that he began the romance with Stephanie after their marriage collapsed, but Helen feels let down. They are still married, and their baby is literally four months old."
Ms Thirkill is the daughter of Andrew Thirkill, who is one of the richest businessmen in Leeds and is worth an estimated £175m.
