Helen Skelton's rugby star ex husband shared a cosy photo with his new girlfriend on the night the BBC presenter made her Strictly Come Dancing debut.
The Blue Peter star was left heartbroken when husband Richie Myler called it quits on their eight year marriage in April, just four months after she gave birth to their third child.
Helen, 39, said she was hoping to inject some glitz back into her life when she signed up to the latest series of Strictly at the 11th hour.
As Helen took to the dancefloor for the first time with partner Gorka Marque on Saturday night, Richie revealed he was out with his new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill.
The dad posted to Instagram a snap of him with Stephanie, 32, and her multi-millionaire parents.
"Finished this season as a family," he wrote in the caption, along with a love heart.
Myler played with the Leed's Rhinos at the Super League Grand Final on Saturday, with his team losing to St Helens.
The day after the sportsman still managed to enjoy his night with Stephanie and his teammates, Helen took to Instagram to thank her family for their support.
"Grateful [..] to all the families holding down the fort behind the scenes…. We are grateful. Pretty sure I will owe my parents Christmas in the Caribbean by time this is over," she posted after her first taste of the Strictly live shows.
Before this weekend's double bill launch, Countryfile star Helen said she hoped taking part would give her family a chance to see her smile again.
"I just wanted to do something fun. It was a good chance for my family to see me smiling and it's a fun adventure," she explained.
“Anybody who's had anything to do with Strictly will say, the make-up people are the best, the costume people are the best, the set designers are the best, the dancers are the best."
Helen also said she hoped her new partner would be OK with young children as she'd be forced to bring her baby Elsie to the training room every day.
The star also has her hands full with sons Ernie, seven, and Louis, five.
Helen announced her marriage to Richie was over in April this year.
She wrote: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children."
Following the shock news, it was reported that England rugby star Richie had moved on with a 'young businesswoman.'
Insiders claimed that Richie was in 'the very early stages of a relationship' with the mystery new woman and it came after his split from Helen.
“Richie appears to have been spending a lot of his free time with this younger, successful businesswoman," an insider told The Sun.
The news came after Helen shared a crytpic tweet about the struggles of motherhood.
She re-shared: "A mama is always full of emotions, full of love, full of anxiety and worries, full of exhaustion and lack of energy, full of mum guilt and doubt, full of pride in her kids, full of pure joy.
"She feels it all, that’s the beauty of her, she carries it all too, and yet she gets up every day and does it all over again."
Richie, 31, who is a rugby star who plays for Leeds Rhinos, has yet to publicly address his separation with Helen.
