Helen Skelton' s husband Richie Myler has embarked on a new relationship with the daughter of the multi-millionaire President of the Leeds Rhinos club which he plays for.
Just one week after Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton announced the end of her eight-year marriage with Richie, the sports star is now with Stephanie Thirkill, 32.
The 38-year-old TV star shared the sad announcement that her marriage had ended in emotional statement which she posted to her Instagram stories last week.
Helen revealed that Richie had 'left the family home' as she opened up about her heartbreak after their love story crumbled after eight years of marriage.
Helen and Richie's split came just four-months after the pair welcomed their third child, Elsie Kate.
The pair are also proud parents to sons, Ernie, six, and Louis, four.
Ms Thirkill is the daughter of Andrew Thirkill, who is one of the richest businessmen in Leeds.
His worth is estimated at a whopping £175 million.
Last week, Richie's pals claimed the sports star had been seeing a 'young businesswoman recently' as their friendship has continued to grow.
Insiders claim that Richie is in 'the very early stages of a relationship' with the mystery new woman and it came after his split from Helen.
“Richie appears to have been spending a lot of his free time with this younger, successful businesswoman," an insider told The Sun.
The Mirror has reached out to representatives of Richie and Helen for further comment.
It comes after Helen stunned fans with a statement confirming her marriage to Richie was over on Monday.
In a short statement, Helen penned: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home.
"We will be doing our best to co parent our small children."
Richie, 31, who is a rugby star who plays for Leeds Rhinos, has not publicly addressed his separation with Helen.
Helen and Richie have had a busy couple of months after welcoming their third child - and first daughter - Elsie Kate on December 31st.
Helen and Richie had been married for eight years.
The pair tied the knot in December 2013.
