Helen Skelton has wowed fans with a recent Instagram post, showing her enjoying a break in the Lake District. The Countryfile star can be seen looking out over the water, donning a black swimming costume.
She is currently holidaying in the picturesque spot with her kids and they can be seen in the background enjoying a paddle boarding session. In the post, she says: "Just like that the eldest two are old enough to pinch my board…. Life jackets and eyes on at all times."
The post comes ahead of Helen's appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, which has already caused some controversy. A video has recently surfaced, showing Helen boasting about winning the 2000 Ken Dodd Tap Dancing Award.
But, last week, Helen told BBC Radio 5 Live that she cannot dance. She said: "People keep saying, 'Can you dance?' and I say, 'No', because isn't it the point to learn to dance?"
These comments were at odds with her interview in The Sun in 2016, though, where she said: "Not a lot of people know this, but I'm very good at tap dancing. People are often amazed I can tap dance."
And this will not be the first time that Helen has appeared on Strictly, either. The 39-year-old had previously taken part in the 2012 Christmas Special. She was partnered with Russian professional, Artem Chigvintsev, and the pair wowed judges with their dance to Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas (Is You)'.
Though her forthcoming appearance on the show is courting some controversy, fans were still quick to praise the mum on her recent Insta post. Many told her how "amazing" she looked, the Mirror reports.
One said: "Wow Helen your [sic] looking fab, you go girl." Another commented: "Looking very nice and toned there Helen!" While a third joked: "Nice view. The lake's not a bad view either!"
And a fourth replied: "You will now spend the next few years watching them have all the fun. You look amazing Helen."
Dancing fans will be able to catch Helen on Strictly soon, alongside Eastenders star James Bye, Ted Lasso's Ellie Taylor, Bros singer Matt Goss, Kiss radio host Tyler West, ex-footballer Tony Adams and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Molly Rainford.
Paralympic champion Ellie Simmonds, comedian Jayde Adams, Coronation Street actors Will Mellor and Kym Marsh, Loose Women’s Kaye Adams, Radio 2’s Richie Anderson and wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin complete the line-up, with a launch scheduled for September 7.
