Helen Skelton enjoyed a 'chaotic' start to 2023 with her family, delighting fans by giving them an insight into how she spent New Year's Eve, as big things are predicted to come her way in the next 12 months.
Two weeks have now passed since former Blue Peter star Helen starred in the Strictly Come Dancing final, missing out on the Glitterball trophy to new champions Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal, as many viewers were upset she and pro partner Gorka Marquez didn't win.
After a hectic run up to Christmas, Helen was then kept busy by organising youngest child Elsie's birthday party, with her Instagram followers thinking they spotted her ex husband Richie Myler on one of the pictures she shared of the gettogether online.

Helen was surrounded by family once again on Saturday night as she counted down the hours and minutes to the New Year, with her posting a selfie of her with her children and relatives, which she captioned: "Kids. Chaos. Fam." She followed that up with an adorable photograph of little Elsie wearing a party hat.
Helen's New Year's Eve gathering comes amid rumours that she is set to team up with Strictly co-star Hamza to be the new faces of long-running BBC show Countryfile. The reports linking Helen to a job on the famous series came just days after her defeat in the final, with a source telling the Daily Star: "It’s a huge opportunity for Hamza and Helen as Countryfile’s ratings eclipse most soap operas. But it’s unlikely to be the only project they both get."
One gig Helen definitely has coming is the Strictly live tour, although she won't be dancing with Gorka Marquez. Gorka isn't taking part in the annual nationwide jaunt, so instead Helen will dance with pro Kai Widdrington, who was first out of the ballroom this time round, along with celeb partner Kaye Adams.
