Helen Flanagan shows before and after video of boob job as she shares honest reason for going under the knife

Helen Flanagan has showed off the results of her recent boob job by sharing before and after images and video on Instagram. The former Coronation Street actress told fans last month that she had gone under the knife to boost her confidence after noticing that her breasts had changed after breastfeeding.

She kept her surgery a secret as she felt 'nervous' telling her followers the news. Helen, from Bury, said she was always "really busty" but decided to take action when her boobs became "saggy" after nursing her three children for three years in total.

The former soap star said she never thought she would have a boob job, adding: "Basically, my boobs just changed so much from pregnancy and breastfeeding. And it's a really tricky one here, because I loved all my breastfeeding journeys. I'm a massive supporter of breastfeeding. I think it's an amazing experience that you can have your children and I would do it, you know, time and time again. But in total, I probably breastfed for about, I would say about three years."

Helen, who has three children daughters Matilda, seven, and Delilah, four and a one-year-old son Charlie - with Bristol Rovers footballer Scott Sinclair, has since given fans updates on her recovery and on Sunday evening (February 6), took to Instagram to share the full results.

The start of the video showed Helen filming herself in her gorgeous new marbled bathroom as she wore a rolled-up white tank top with grey sweatpants on the morning before her surgery. A second clip was then filmed over the weekend with Helen donning the same outfit to show the difference the surgery had.

"I was quite open here on Instagram in January about my recent boob job. This was something I wanted to do for a really long time and by doing so I’ve really got my confidence back," she typed alongside the post. "I breastfed in total for 3 years. Matilda I fed for eight months. Delilah i fed for 13 months. Charlie I fed for 14months.

"As soon as I finished my breastfeeding journey with Charlie I wanted to get them done pretty much straight away. I felt like you could tie them in a bow. I had to wait though for six months after feeding and then I went for it in January. I don’t regret one second of my breastfeeding journeys they were precious times. I was a little bit nervous I was worried they were going to be too big for my frame but they are so perfect for me and so in proportion."

She shared how she "couldn’t be happier" with the results and added: "I love them I keep showing all my girlfriends. I am all for body confidence and I am all for empowering other women and supporting other women in their decisions that they decide to make." She also said: "It was a good start of the year for me as I want to feel good this summer. I’ve done all the baby stage and it’s nice to be now coming to a place where I can work on myself."

Actress Susie Amy was among the first to respond as she wrote in the comments: "You look great and healthy too." And fans were also keen to show their support. @hammonddina said: "Good for you if it makes you feel better it’s well worth it .. they look lovely . I hope they make you feel a million dollars."

@godfatherceltic echoed: "Good for you - makes a huge difference to be happy within yourself. If I could do it I would." @emmalc94 posted: "Love your transparency and about time us mums did something for ourselves enjoy them!" @sarahkate_83 added: "Good on you Girl. You have always been a beautiful lady and if having this procedure gives you more confidence then why not! After having two children myself who are now grown up, I can definitely relate."
