Helen Flanagan shares emotional post I'm A Celebrity reunion with children and ex Scott Sinclair

Helen Flanagan has shared an insight into her reunion with her family after I'm A Celebrity.

The former Coronation Street star is currently competing to be crowned the first ever legend on the spin off of TV's toughest entertainment challenge. Helen jetted off to South Africa for the programme, which was filmed last September.

The 32-year-old was emotional on Friday's episode as she was able to have a phone call with her kids. Helen had never been away from her three children for such a long time before and was struggling as she missed the first day of school of her youngest daughter, Delilah.

Helen shares her three children with Bristol Rovers footballer, Scott Sinclair. She revealed in an interview with OK that they split last July but have remained on positive terms for the sake of their children.

Helen has been sharing updates from her I'm A Celebrity journey with her 1m followers on Instagram. She has taken to the social media platform and shared a snap of her return home from camp.

Scott can be seen holding their son, Charlie, in the clip as Matilda and Delilah excitedly embrace their mum on her return home. Helen captioned the clip: "Found this video of when I came back from the jungle. I was away for one month and never left my babies before."

Helen set the record straight on her split with Scott amid much speculation after she was spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger earlier this year. She told OK!: "He’s a very private person, while I’m an open book. But we were together for 13 years – we both needed to deal with the break-up.

She added: "You don’t spend all your twenties with someone, have three children and not have a good relationship and care about them and love them. When you have that with someone, no one – nothing – can take away what we had. I’ll always love him and he’ll always love me, you just sometimes don’t work any more.

“It will always be really special. But I don’t regret anything. I have three perfect children.”
