Helen Flanagan shares cryptic post about relationships as she suffers parent blunder with eldest daughter

Helen Flanagan appeared to share a cryptic post about relationships after suffering a parenting blunder as she continues to co-parent her three children with ex-fiance Scott Sinclair.

The former Coronation Street star confirmed the end of her relationship with footballer Scott back in April after separating last July after 13 years together. Bury-born Helen spoke about the split for the first time ahead of her stint on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa earlier this year.

She addressed speculation about her love life after rumours began to swirl earlier this year that she is now single. "We actually broke up in July," Helen told OK! Magazine about her relationship with Bristol Rovers' Scott, with whom she shares her three children - Matilda, Delilah, and son Charlie.

Since then, Helen, who is gamed for having played Rosie Webster in ITV's Corrie, has continued to share honest updates about life solo parenting as a doting mum-of-three. And she stuck to being honest when she admitted her latest treat for her eldest daughter, Matilda, has gotten her into trouble at school.

Helen had to enlist the urgent help of her hairdresser after one of her daughters was told to remove some colourful hair braids by her school. The 32-year-old had taken her daughter to get the pink braids done as a treat for her birthday.

However, she was left documenting the removal process on her Instagram and tagged her hairstylist Kelvin Barron who helped her with the task of undoing them all. "So the braids didn't go down too well at school," she explained in the video posted to her Instagram Story on Monday evening (June 26).

Kevin then chimed in: "What a time to be alive!" as Helen giggled at the error. Helen then told her 1M followers: "So me and Kelvin have to do every single braid so she can go to school tomorrow." Her pal then playfully jibed: "Mother of the year," after which Helen turned to him and let out a laugh while gripping the strands of coloured hair.

As she uploaded the confessional clips to her page, she typed a caption that read: "It was the colour they didn’t like at school maybe summer holidays [sic]."

Helen has since quietly returned to social media, sharing a quote posted by Jillian Turecki. It read: "Not every romantic connection is meant to evolve into a relationship. We will interact with many people throughout our lives, and some are only meant to occupy a short chapter.

"It doesn't mean it wasn't an impactful chapter, but a chapter nonetheless. Letting go of that person doesn't mean we were not meant to know them, or love them. It just means we accept that their part in our story is over." Helen reposted the quote to her Instagram Story from Jillian with a simple red heart emoji.
