Helen Flanagan has opened up about receiving help following her recent breast enhancement surgery.
The former Coronation Street actress underwent the surgery in a bid to boost her body confidence after being left self-conscious from breastfeeding her three children. Helen, who is best known for her role as Rosie Webster in the soap, admits that she's had lots of help with her children following her operation.
The 32-year-old said she had always been busty with a natural E cup, but after breastfeeding Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and one-year-old Charlie, her breasts went to a B cup and became 'really saggy'.
Helen, who shares her children with ex-fiancé and former Celtic star Scott Sinclair, admitted she was nervous about disclosing her surgery due to negative social media comments. The soap star ultimately decided to be honest with fans as she is a "firm believer in women supporting other women."
During a Q&A on Instagram, Helen revealed she told her daughters about her recent boob job, with her saying that she was "honest" with them and "didn't make a big deal of it".
A fan asked: "Will you tell your girls? Like how will you explain it to them?" In response, Helen said: "I was just honest with them and didn't make a big deal of it. Matilda is just an angel and just no bother at all. Delilah is only four and as soon as she came home she was so excited to see me she head butted me by accident!"
Helen continued in her response: "I just said mummy had a little op so I can't carry you or Charlie. Delilah still will be carried".
In the same Q&A session, another follower asked: "I'm day six post op. How did you do the food shop today? I'm still so sore! xxx"
Helen responded: "I didn't go on my own I made sure I've had child care all week to help me. Poor Charlie's getting very confused as to why I won't carry him. I was getting cabin fever staying in so it's nice going out with a friend if they drive."
Another question saw her asked how long she will have to wait before being able to lift her children again, with Helen saying it was the most challenging aspect of recovery.
She explained in her reply: "I just can't wait to just hold and carry Charlie like normal that is the most frustrating. I made sure childcare was good before my operation."
